Gimmick:  The Mystery Man is just that - a mystery. He originaly started off as a charecter which said very little and let his actions do the talking but then his actions apparently didn't make much sense to the people in the back and the fan's. He dresses in black (according to the image)with his black hair hanging over his face as he carries a baseball bat everywhere he goes. He also hangs around the rafters and his presence can often be known should a crow be seen anywhere
Background:  The Mystery Man Chris Michaels has had a suprisingly fruitful career for an englishman. He trained hard from a young age and worked several shows for the Frontier Wrestling Alliance before an agent for All Japan offered him and his tag partner and life time best friend The Big Man Beastly a chance to do a tour and improve there skills. They lept at the chance and wrestled against some of the legends - the Great Muta, Scot Hall, Scot Norton, Mitowasa and others as they steadily rose through the tag ranks and eventually captured the titles twice before they returned to the UK for a short stint and then went back to Japan this time to work for rivals New Japan Wrestling and this was where Michaels career really took off.
He and Beastly (Bad Blood) captured the tag titles again but there friendship - atleast storyline wise - dissolved rapidly and there tag team was split up as Michaels went on to capture the New Japan Heavyweight title only to have the deciscion reversed and the title awarded to Beastly. Michaels was disgusted and he left for the USA where he did some shows on the Smoky Mountain territory before being signed by the england based 4WF (an E-Fed) his arrival was an instant success and he was one of the biggest faces portrayed as he swung from the rafters and fought to win the tag titles in his speciality match - the Triple Tire Cage in a two on one forming the OutsiderZ faction with the other major faces Bad Guy and Wotto.
Time went on and cracks in the perfect image began to appear with Michaels getting pinned and wotto having his leg broken as they lost the tag straps. Michaels vanished for several months only to return at DTA: Dont Trust Anyone and betray The Bad Guy capturing the World Heavyweight Title which he held for five weeks before losing it in a Scottish Cube 60 Minute Iron Man inferno match where he suffered countless injuries which put him on the shelf for a while.
When he returned his heel faction bad Blood had split with in fighting and he was accused of being the "Driver of the hummer" which attacked Bad Guy the week before. Michaels never got a chance to refute the claims but the answer was obvious as on July 1st Deathrow the Mystery Man was ran down by a white hummer as he fought with the Bad Guy.
Injured and falling out with the executives the 4WF fired him from there ranks and in the process enraged millions of fans. But the Mystery Man will lose no sleep over it because he intends not to regret over what could of happened but to make a world wide name for himself by winning gold - tag or singles nobody really knows but him - in the united states.
